At Toronto Tech Week I was asked “what do you do” more times than I can count and I don’t know the answer. This week I sold clothes in Yorkville, recruited engineers, met the C-suites of tech companies, and debated whether AI will take our jobs.

Cache TOOK OVER YORKVILLE

I joined Cache five months ago when we didn’t even have an MVP. Fast forward to today, we were selling clothes in one of the most coveted spots in the city, Yorkville Village.

The amount of support from the passionate Cache community as well as foot traffic hearing about Cache for the first time was astonishing. I’m excited for our future because we are planning to roll out big features in the coming weeks 🤫.

University of Toronto Scarborough LAUNCH Event

This past Friday I represented Temerity Analytics at the UTSC LAUNCH co-op event, looking for the next batch of outstanding talent in Toronto.

I had so many interesting conversations with ambitious, accomplished, and passionate students in similar positions to myself. Despite everything you hear about AI replacing software engineers, these conversations gave me full confidence that great builders are irreplaceable.

Generalist World Meetup

This was an extremely fun event held at WVRST in Downtown Toronto. 300 people packed in; each one with more interesting passions than the next. From professional parkour to high finance in New York, I met everyone you could imagine!

As a CS and business double degree student, founding engineer, and software engineer, I've never felt more at home in a crowd.

Canadian Undergraduate Technology Conference (CUTC)

I already made a post about this one so I’ll keep this brief, but: countless founders, C-suite executives, and driven students all under one roof. Hearing the founders of Boardy, Convictional, CoLab, and more share their stories left me walking away with more ambition than I came in with.
